Terroir is situated in the heart of the old village of Attard, which lies between the medieval city of Mdina and the capital city Valletta. Our restaurant is housed in this antique building which reveals the skill and the style of the local stonemasons of the previous centuries. We are located next to an old horse trough which echoes the times when horse drawn carriages on their way to Valletta or vice-versa, stopped at this strategic location to quench the thirst of their horses. Back then Attard was considered by the noble families as a perfect location for countryside residences, some of which are still available in our neighbourhood to this day. We are delighted that we have become part of Attard’s rich history and we strive to include you and all our patrons as main characters in our culinary story.
